Professor Dr.-Ing. Saifullah Khandker

Born 1952 in Ghatail, Tangail, Bangladesh.
He is a Professor of Food Science and Technology and Environment Specialist, Professor Dr.-Ing. Saifullah Khandker is the Founder of German University Bangladesh. He is responsible for overall supervision and implementation of all work of GUB.

Areas of Responsibility

The Scientific Adviser will extend his support and cooperation in implementing the policy and decisions make by the Board of Vice Chancellor and the Board of Trustees and particularly in executing the following responsibilities:

University Policy
Assists Board of Vice Chancellor
Right to deny access to premises
Orderly operation of the university
Decisions regarding the preservation and restoration of order
External affairs

Strategic planning (research emphases, development planning, appointments policy, evaluation, quality management, Initiative for Excellence, etc.)
Campus development
Fundraising, university sponsoring, marketing, public relations
Strategic controlling (budget agreements and target agreements with the departments)
Strategic centers of the “International Network University”
Appointments strategy
